Walnut Tambour Door Gentleman's Chest by Kipp Stewart for Drexel
Mid-Century Modern walnut wood dresser or gentleman's chest with tambour doors on the front by Kipp Stewart for the Dexel Declaration line. There are storage shelves that slide out when the tambour doors slide open. It has 6 front drawers, two smaller top bins and two vertical filing bins. This model has the wooden pulls and brass details. There is a makers mark on the back of the chest.
Dimensions - 52ʺW × 20ʺD × 45.67ʺH
Condition Details - This chest of drawers is vintage so a base level of wear is to be expected. The chest shows signs of wear throughout. And appears to have been well taken care of. There is a chip in the tambour door. As well as the left side of the tambour door is slightly off track and is difficult to open. There is a chip to the veneer that has been reglued as well as other chips to the corner. There is scuffs, scratches, marks, dents throughout the piece but in overall good vintage condition.
