This is a Model 4700 “Easy Chair,” designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1965. These are not common and not a lot come to market. This example was produced in Denmark in 1966. It features a solid beech frame and has been reupholstered in a black leather. It has exposed mortise and tenon joints on the edges of the arms, as well as under the seat of the piece. There is a maker mark located on the bottom of the chairs.

Dimensions - 26.75ʺW × 30.5ʺD × 27ʺH

Condition Details - The chairs are vintage, so a base level of wear is to be expected. The chairs wood frames show general signs of wear and age, including scuffs, scratches, marks and dents and slight discoloration. The leather seat and back are in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. There are some slight scratches (pictures) please see photos for in-depth details of the condition
