Orange Eames Shell Chairs for Herman Miller

1960s DSS molded fiberglass shell chairs on stacking base, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Gleaming orange shells are in original condition, each with a distinct thready texture. They’ve been modified at some point in time and have four holes drilled into seats to attach to bases. Sold individually.

Dimensions - 23.25ʺW × 21.75ʺD × 31ʺH

Condition Details - These chairs are in well used vintage condition and are in all varying conditions. The fiberglass shells all have various signs of wear and some of the shells may be cracked or chipped along the edges. The metal bases have oxidation, scuffs, scratches, and also some rust spots. Some of the frames may be bent. Some of the chairs are missing the feet/glides. Some of the chairs are missing screws. All chairs have 4 holes drilled through the seat and into the base and the screws may be rusted and oxidized. Please see photos for full details.
