Adrian Pearsall Swivel Lounge Chair
What a fantastic and fun design by Adrian Pearsall! This lounge chair is big enough to kick back in. There is a four-legged swivel mechanism that allows the chair to spin 360 degrees. The bentwood back supports and tapered legs are a rich walnut finish. There’s no makers mark on the piece.
Dimensions - 40ʺW × 37ʺD × 26.5ʺH
Condition Details - The piece is vintage so a base level of wear should be expected. The fabric has rips, staining, and fading throughout. There are also exposed staples along a seams and sagging in the upholstery due to old foam needing replaced. Structurally the chair sits wobbly and legs are loose. We recommend regluing and tightening all componets. The wood has chips, scuffs, and scratches throughout and there is veneer loose on the back supports. There is one wooden cap missing from bentwood back support. Brass caps on feet appear to have wood stain on them and need to be cleaned/polished. We recommend full restoration and reupholstery.
